When young Londoner Malachi walked onto the stage of Britain’s Got Talent, he was timid and obviously a bit overwhelmed. Softspoken, his mom waiting on stage, he had every reason to be nervous – at nine years old, I would’ve been so much worse. Then the music started, and he started to sing, and how terrifying with those bright lights, he started to cry.

With a bit of encouragement from Mom and a hug from judge Alesha Dixon, Malachi got right back on, and the roar of the crowd was well-deserved. Now I’m crying!
