“Make yourself at home.” Imagine saying that to those who need it most – at a place they feel most alienated.
“No one likes playing in an empty gym” was the message that these two boys wanted the world to hear. A basketball team from Vanguard College Prep in Texas were scheduled, an away game, to play against the Gainesville Tornadoes which is a juvenile correction facility team. Gainesville Tornados normally don’t get any fans, but two boys from the Vanguard team decided to do something very special.
