Marriages take all sorts of shapes, and many different paths to get there. I dated a couple different girls and ended up meeting my wife through a friend. My friends met through an online dating site; my uncle proposed to my aunt after dating for two weeks; my friend’s parents met on a blind date. In many parts of the world, cultures still practice arranged marriages – and for Vicki and Fardad, it totally worked.
