It’s One Thing To Say ‘Jesus Is Enough’ When You Live Comfortably, But What If He Asks You To Sell Your Home And Move To A Trailer Park?

Jill and Brian, along with their two sons, felt the call to ministry. They could have gone anywhere in the world, but they decided they didn’t need to look very far before finding people in need of God’s love and healing.

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2:14-17

Jill and Brian, along with their two sons, felt the call to ministry. They could have gone anywhere in the world, but they decided they didn’t need to look very far before finding people in need of God’s love and healing. Selling their comfortable two story home in suburbia, Jill and Brian purchased a mobile home off of Craig’s list and moved to Maple Hill Estates – a trailer park community not far from where they previously lived. Jill was the first to fall in love with the people of the community, specifically the children. She decided that if she was going to have a chance at making a real impact with these families, she needed to be available to them at all times, live with their struggles, and empower them with the greatest truth she knew: Jesus died for them, so she could certainly live with them.

Watch this incredible story of one family making a difference and being the hands and feet of Jesus in a very practical and life-changing way!
