This old school preacher, born in 1837, still has such profound wisdom for our faith today. Not only was he the founder of Moody Publishers and Moody Bible Institute, both organizations that are still alive and well today, but his writings and teachings remain as prevalent and impactful today as they did more than 100 years ago.
I personally love the way Moody was able to pack a powerful truth inside of a simple statement, and cover it in wit and wisdom. This guy would have been great on social media. Without further ado, here are some of our favorite quotes:
