This Baby Almost Didn’t Come Home, But Hope and Faith Fueled Unlimited Love – This Is Adoption.

It’s every expectant parent’s worst nightmare: in the delivery room, something goes wrong. Suddenly, your baby is hooked up to tubes, to wires, and doctors crowd you out of the picture. After nine months, the baby you’ve prepped for, a room lovingly decorated, showers thrown, it might all end right here.

Now dilate that 9-month anticipation three fold, and you have Mark and Maureen. Unable to conceive on their own, the heartbreak of infertility gave way to the hope of adoption with lots of prayer and the help of Pure Gift of God, a ministry dedicated to early adoption for the least of these. They prepped a nursery, but they almost didn’t get to bring their baby girl home.

Enter the familiar power of a mother’s touch.
