Mom Surprises Kids With New Baby Sister

If you or a loved one has ever been through the adoption process, you know that it can be very difficult.

It’s a grueling series of steps that you have to take, even if you are a more than qualified parent. Shane and Kasi Pruitt were able to sidestep the difficulties that are normally associated with this process and managed to adopt a baby fairly quickly.

Shane, who works as a Director of Missions at a Baptist church, received an amazing phone call one day that would change this family’s lives forever. The man on the other end of the line was a lawyer, who let Shane know that there was a child who was available for adoption. Of course, Shane needed to take some time to mull the decision over.

He and Kasi thought about it for a bit and they eventually decided that they would take the child home. They also decided that they would take their time before announcing it to the children. They did not let the rest of their children know that there would be a new addition. The happy couple wanted the big moment to be a surprise.

In the video below, Kasi walks through the door holding little Celsey Marie and she pretends that nothing out of the ordinary is going on. It’s the perfect setup for a perfect video. The other children’s reactions to the arrival of the new baby are priceless.

These two little girls are absolutely blown away and we are loving their facial expressions. There’s no way they ever could have expected this.

They soon realize that they are about to have a new baby sister, and as you may have expected, they totally lose it.
