Family Raises Money For Senior Domino’s Worker Who Tripped And Fell Delivering Pizzas

The family ended up raising more than $260,000 for the 72-year-old employee – enough for her to retire with!

This South Carolina family was so deeply moved by the circumstances of a Domino’s delivery driver that they knew they had to help.

Barbara is a 72-year-old employee and has been working as a Domino’s delivery driver in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

One day, she was bringing food to this family’s home and she fell down on their front porch. Instead of worrying about their dinner, they were more concerned with her well-being.

“Our Dominos delivery driver fell on our front porch today and my heart just hurts for her. She’s clearly having a hard time. She was so worried about our food but all we cared about was that she was okay,” said Lacey Keighron on TikTok.

The footage of the incident was captured on the home security cameras and posted on TikTok; the family decided that they would start a fundraiser to help Barbara out and they wanted to use TikTok to help spread the word.

“We would like to bless her by bringing by a ‘tip’ to help her with anything she may need. She is an older woman who fell and only cared about the food she dropped. Let’s show her some kindness and take off some of this burden that our economy is causing the older generations especially!” said Lacey on the fundraiser page.

The GoFundMe page was shared and it took off on social media in no time at all.

The TikTok update that Lacey offered after the fundraiser was complete was nothing short of miraculous. They had raised over $263,000 for Barbara! She was able to put in her two-week notice at Domino’s and will be officially retiring as soon as she finishes the last of her shifts.
