Make The Most Of This Christmas By Discipling Your Children

There is a tremendous opportunity to focus your family and your neighbors on Jesus during the month of December

6. Create a Jesus-focused environment.

Sing Christmas hymns during family devotions. Watch movies about the birth of Jesus. Play Christmas music in the home and in the car. Keep some tracts with you about the Christmas story that you can share with cashiers, bagboys and restaurant staff. Allow your children to hand the tracts out.

5. Look for Jesus.

Play a game with your children of “looking for Jesus” as you are out in the community. You of course will find baby Jesus images in nativities, in stores, and in churches. You will find adult Jesus images on stained glass, at churches and on billboards.
