Who Does Christ Say You Are?

It’s not just claiming verses, it’s confidence in Christ.

What makes up your identity? Physical traits? Perhaps it’s a title like mother, wife, or sister. Maybe your identity is wrapped up in your job and always pushing for the next promotion. Scripture tells us that the moment we accept Christ’s sacrifice and invite Him to be Lord of our lives, our identity lies with Him.

But what does that mean, exactly? This can be a vague and at times confusing concept, even for those who grew up in the church. Discovering who you are in Christ – who God Himself created you to be – is a lifelong journey. It’s more than just reading the Word and highlighting verses, it’s putting your confidence in the Lord and trusting Him with your past, present, and future.

With that in mind, let’s look at a few verses that speak to who we are in Christ. Remember, we’re not simply claiming these verses and promises for ourselves, we’re letting the living Word of God shape our hearts and lives.
