This Country Star Is Taking the Spotlight – but It’s Not Her Concert. Check Out Carrie Underwood Rock With Thousand Foot Krutch!

The first and most obvious question is “why is there a video below in which nothing can be seen?” The answer isn’t about what can be seen, but about what can be heard in the clip below. Through the din of screaming fans and amped guitars comes the clear, heartfelt voice of one of the biggest and most beloved stars in country music. But this isn’t Carrie Underwood’s concert; it’s Winter Jam 2014 on its tour stop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The band performing? Thousand Foot Krutch, whom Carrie had previously placed on her iTunes celebrity playlist with two songs saying, “I love love love this band. They can do it all! Awesome. Trevor has amazing vocals paired with GIANT guitars. Makes me jump around the room.” We’ve seen Underwood for years speak candidly about God and perform great songs of faith, but now she has literally stepped center stage in the world of pop Christianity. That, in our book, is pretty cool. Give a listen by clicking play below.
