Sixty years ago, Anthony and Louise Zamperini received a letter from President Franklin Roosevelt with condolences on the death of their son, whose B-24 bomber had been shot down over the Pacific by Japan during World War II. There’s just one problem: Louie Zamperini wasn’t dead. The young Olympic hero was now a prisoner of war, enduring torture and anguish, surviving on an inner strength borne of a deep faith that would lead him to Jesus. His story will be told in this movie – and it looks amazing.
