Do Not Read Until 2023: You’ll Be So Blessed by One 12-Year-Old’s Letter to Her Older Self.

At twelve years old, young Taylor Smith had some important things to say to her 22-year-old self: she was supposed to finish college, stay close to family and to God through her church. But 22-year-old Taylor never got a chance to read her past reflections, as the precocious preteen passed away due to complications from pneumonia in the fall of last year. As they cleaned out their daughter’s room, Mary Ellen and Tim Smith came across the envelope not to be opened until April 13, 2023 “unless said otherwise.” When they opened and read their girl’s dreams – and wisdom – it was simultaneoulsy heartbreaking and encouraging.
