Sandy Hook Students Sing To Support Newtown Victims

The brave students of Sandyhook Elementary sing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” to support their community.

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

After having been through so much, the brave children of Sandyhook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. have decided to help out in their community and support those families that have suffered the most. Teamed with folk singer Ingrid Michaelson and former Talking Heads members Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth, the students have created a very touching version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow. The proceeds of that song, which is being sold on Amazon and iTunes, will go to the Newtown Youth Academy and the United Way of Western Connecticut. Watch their performance!
