‘I Was Pregnant With The Mission, And I Had To Deliver.’

I believe in the prayers Jesus prayed, so I say to him, ‘Jesus, I’m just asking for my daily bread. These children are yours, and I know you will provide for them.’ And he always has.

But you do see, for you note mischief and vexation, that you may take it into your hands; to you the helpless commits himself; you have been the helper of the fatherless. – Psalm 10:14

This man had a good job selling insurance in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He made ends meet, and he was comfortable. But then Jesus filled his heart with equal parts burden, and faith, and he knew he had to drop what he was doing and help the orphans in his country. He was not a rich man, he had no more than most. He started an orphanage with nothing and God is still providing in amazing ways. “I believe in the prayers Jesus prayed. He said you only need to pray for your daily bread, so I say to him, ‘Jesus, I’m just asking for my daily bread. These children are yours, and I know you will provide for them.’ And he always has.”
