My grandmothers both sewed – they made their own clothes and my mom’s wedding dress, just as ready thought examples. At 99, Lillian Weber is still going strong, and perhaps stronger than most home seamstresses ever think of. She’s sewing one dress per day everyday. Obviously with that kind of output, these aren’t for her grandkids. So why do it?
