Liam Needed a New Arm – He Got the Surprise of His Life.

I’m a pretty big Star Wars fan – at age 9, my older cousin was taking me to midnight premiers of the “Special Edition” movies in 1997. I’ve been able to see and participate in a lot of cool things, but none quite so awesome as this:

In Augusta, Georgia, the local 501st Legion (semi-official fan clubs filled with people who dress up primarily as the Imperial stormtroopers) gave a boy something he desperately needed – an arm – and something he desperately wanted – belonging and identity with these awesome costumes. This is his “trooper” prosthetic.
