5 Hollywood Megastars Who Love Jesus

With monumental film projects sourced from Scritpure, it’s no surprise that there are some Christians moving in Hollywood’s highest circles.

Kristin Chenoweth

Growing up, Kristin Chenoweth dreamed of finding success in the Christian music industry, and she did that by releasing As I Am in 2005. Way to live your dreams! Except Chenoweth achieved that after winning a Tony Award for portraying Glinda in Broadway’s hit musical Wicked, dating famous writer and producer Aaron Sorkin (Sorkin paid tribute to Chenoweth with the character Harriet in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) and becoming one of the biggest names in entertainment – TV, movies, music and the stage.

Tom Hanks

America’s most beloved movie star hasn’t quite found his church yet. C.S. Lewis called Christianity a hall, and churches rooms off that hall, so it might be truly fair to call Tom Hanks a “mere” Christian. He’s gone to Roman Catholicism and the Church of the Nazarene, and continues to attend church every week with wife Rita Wilson, a Greek Orthodox. The simplest we can say is that Tom Hanks has Jesus.
