Father-Daughter Duet Brings America’s Got Talent To Its Feet

Maurice and Shanice Hayes have been comfortable singing to audiences for some time. The father-daughter pair are street musicians, regularly singing in parks or on sidewalks to earn some money. But they’ve never had an audience as big as the one they had at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis. Their duet, with both singers occasionally working harmonies or descant lines, brought the entire theatre to its feet, and was a display of a wonderful relationship.
