Preschoolers Fight Over Baby Jesus Doll While Singing In Christmas Play

Christmas plays are usually not considered to be all that wild, in the grand scheme of things. We show up, watch our little ones play various roles, and go home happy.

Videos and pictures are taken as well. Of course, there are some Christmas plays that go a bit differently from how we expect them to. This particular play is certainly a prime example of this.

This little girl was given the chance to play a sheep in the play but the most amazing thing happened. She decided that she was going to swipe Baby Jesus instead. Luckily for us, the girl’s mother happened to be filming the play. If not for this footage, we never would have believed that this ridiculous event even took place.

Once she got home, she decided to share the video with her Facebook friends. It will not surprise anyone to learn that the clip went viral.

The best part isn’t even the fact that the child stole the Baby Jesus, it is the reaction of the other child who was playing Mary. The motherly instincts did not take long to kick in and she did her best to remedy the situation that she was left to deal with.

“My little sheep took the baby Jesus, breaking all the rules leaving poor little Mary no choice but to take action! Momma to the rescue tried her best to protect her baby at all costs. Definitely a program I will remember. LOVE these kiddos and my church family! Laughed so hard I cried!” the mother wrote.

Much like this mother, we struggled to keep our composure while we were watching this clip and we are willing to bet that you will be in the same boat.

This child is going to have a blast watching this footage when they get older. Their mother is going to be playing this video every Christmas for the rest of their childhood, bank on it.
