9 Year Old Bravely Saves Little Sister, Almost Dies

This is such a touching story of sisterly love. While crossing the street to catch the school bus, sisters Anaiah and Camry Rucker – nine and five years old – found themselves face to face with a speeding pickup truck. With only a split second to react, Anaiah pushed her little sister out of the road and was hit by the truck herself. Anaiah was not breathing and had no heartbeat until her school bus driver revived her with CPR. Even though she lost a leg and broke her neck Anaiah doesn’t think she’s a hero, because Camry was “too little to get hit”.
