#3 Torrey’s Topical Textbook

R.A. Torrey was no slouch. A friend to D.L. Moody, he worked to create a west coast Bible School like Moody’s Bible Institute in Chicago- The Bible Institute of Los Angeles, now known as BIOLA. A student and teacher of the bible, Torrey set out to create a book that would stir and focus the minds of those reading the word. Thus, this textbook isn’t playing any games. When you look at what it packs, you’re going to be busy with your bible for a while: 20,000 Topics and Subtopics, 30,000 Bible References, and multiple methods of Bible Study. Before there were study bibles for every translation under the sun, this was the book most would keep next to their bible for more in-depth, personal study.
