In September, this vet had a heart attack and couldn’t care for his two dogs. They were sent to a shelter and put up for adoption since he was unable to provide for them.

When he had recovered, he had enough money to put down a deposit on them. Needless to say, this dog lover missed his big sweeties and wanted them back with him at his place as soon as possible.

When he came back in December for a visit, he got a wonderful surprise!

Some volunteers knew of this veteran’s temporary hardship and decided to help him out the same way he has helped out this country for several years.

The volunteers had put up the money for the adoption fee (plus some extra for food and supplies) so he could be reunited with his best buddies.

The joy on everyone’s face, human and canine, is wonderful!
