With the loss of Nelson Mandela, New Movie and Song Offer Hope

With the loss of South African Statesman Nelson Mandela, we offer the U2 premiere of their new song “Ordinary Love.

“Let there be justice for all. Let there be peace for all. Let there be work, bread, water and salt for all. Let each know that for each the body, the mind and the soul have been freed to fulfill themselves.”

― Nelson Mandela (1918-2013)

With the loss of South African Statesman Nelson Mandela, we offer the U2 premiere of their new song “Ordinary Love.” The theme track for the new Mandela biopic ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom,’ this song talks about the simple hope of ‘ordinary love.’

This film is based on South African President Nelson Mandela’s autobiography, which chronicles his early life, coming of age, education, and 27 years in prison before becoming President and working to rebuild the country’s once segregated society. Listen to the beautiful lyrics in the song, and send your thoughts and prayers to his family!
