Why Does This 84-Year-Old Woman Smile and Wave Out Her Window? She Just Loves Kids, and They Love Her Back.

Everyday in the small town of Comox, British Columbia, Tinney Davidson waves out her window to passing high school students. The 84-year-old resident of this coastal island town just loves the kids, and even though they don’t know her, they love her, too. But the wave and the warm smile exchanged between generations became a daily ritual, and a bond was indeed formed. And the students wanted to give back to the grandmotherly woman few of them had ever talked to. So they surprised her with a pep assembly for Valentine’s Day – just a note, that we’re all loved.
