Team Hoyt is father Dick Hoyt and son Rick. After Rick was born a quadriplegic with cerebral palsy his parents were advised to institutionalize him. Far from it, the Hoyt’s fought to give their son the most normal life they could. In the late 1970s, Team Hoyt was born when father and son began competing in marathons and triathlons. In this beautiful video, set to the song “My Redeemer Lives” we see Team Hoyt competing in an Ironman Triathlon. The dedication and love you see in this video is absolutely stunning!
