We generally think of suffering as something we can see: human trafficking, disease, war, death. But there are some monsters that are more difficult to identify, and therefore more easily ignored, to the point that we don’t even know they happen. One such problem is simply, as this little girl puts it, “Hungry.” In America alone, 1 in 4 families deal with real hunger as a physical struggle every week. We don’t see it.
