Teen Girl Sings For Beloved Dad, Warms Hearts

When 18-year-old Amy Connolly auditioned for Britain’s X-Factor, there was much more at stake than winning a singing competition. Amy sang for one reason: to make her dad proud. And boy, did she ever. Amy and her dad, David, lost her mother when Amy was just seven. Giving up on his own musical ambitions, David took a job as a trash collector to support the two of them. Amy’s audition is a stunning combination of love, vulnerability, and sheer God-given talent.
