Pastor and Daughter Given Up for Adoption Reunited after 24 Years

Rarely do we see the lives transformed by serving others. But at the Phoenix Rescue Mission, God reunited a father and daughter.

Urban missions and soup kitchens provide stories of hope and connection for the disenfranchised everyday. Usually, we think of the men and women who come here in need – but rarely do we see the lives transformed by serving others. At the Phoenix Rescue Mission in Arizona, such a transformation occurred when Amy Roberson was reunited with her father. After 24 years of wondering who her birth parents were, she found Will Russell at the shelter – not as a man in need, but as a fellow volunteer and servant of God.
