A Military Couple Brought a Double Blessing to This Homeless Man – That Calls for Thanksgiving!
Earlier, we met Neal Shytles, a man who’s been homeless ever since he lost his job as a cab driver at the height of the recession. These days, surrounded by hundreds of people both on the street and in the shelter he makes his home, he’s lonely, with no family to go home. No family, that is, until now. When Neal reached out through local TV station WTKR to find a family, so many calls and e-mails poured in with offerings of support. But Ashley and Neal McLemore, a Navy couple currently stationed in Newport News, were the first. And this is a double blessing. We’ll let them explain.
