Retired Teacher Mothers Generations

Upon her retirement, Millicent opened her home to neighborhood children. See her steadfast and ongoing love as “Mama” Hill is central to her community.

Millicent Hill spent years helping Los Angeles’ youth as an elementary school teacher, but for the elderly civil rights veteran that just wasn’t enough. Upon her retirement, Millicent opened her home to neighborhood children. She didn’t incorporate as a charitable organization; she didn’t have a lot of room; she didn’t solicit donations. All she did was love the kids to the point that she is called “mama” and “angel” by her students. See her steadfast and ongoing love as “Mama” Hill is central to her community.
