The Fear of Losing a Child Relieved By…The Mail Man? Awesome!

In Greer, South Carolina, Eli Cooper has just celebrated his first birthday. It’s a happy birthday that he almost never made: last week, Eli had suffocated on a plastic wrapper. Mom Stephanie Cooper was panicked, but she calls the arrival of postman Chris Brown (who was just delivering a package) a miracle. With emergency training received from the Post Office, the friendly mailman calmly, quickly – and so gently with a one-year-old! – dislodged the plastic, and saved the little guy’s life. Awesome!
