I Love How the Community Came Together for Lex – Her Love for This Horse Is Astounding!

“Adorable,” said 7-year-old Lex of a 1,000-pound Snickerdoodle. A spirited girl with cerebral palsy (and a small host of other medical problems), Lex usually has such adjectives applied to her by others. The snickerdoodle in question is a horse, not a cookie, and is a therapeutic gift. The real surprise and joy? When Lex thought she was just getting a chance to ride, she was getting a horse – to feed, to brush, to care for, to rely on and befriend. That’s a gift.
