Always Faithful, Young Man Prepares For Life of Blindness

At a young age, Jake Olson showed a strength of character that few adults could match. Jake had already lost one eye to cancer and had spent his young life fighting recurrences of the disease. At twelve-years-old the cancer came back again, for a ninth time, and this time the treatment was unsuccessful. See how this brave young man, with the aid of a deep faith in God (and the USC football team) faced the cancer and prepared for a lifetime of blindness that would be the result of the most recent recurrence and treatment. Knowing that he will never see again, Jake happily does the things he loves, preserving the sights he’ll no long see, in his memory.
