Is Your Spiritual Life Contained To 15 Minutes of “Making Time For God” In The Morning?

Too often we gauge our spiritual lives by how many minutes we were able to spend in God’s Word, or in prayer, but the real test is in what we are doing outside of our “quiet time,” and how we apply those lessons.

The guys at Blimey Cow have done it again. In this video, they discuss the phrase, “making time for God.” It is a harmless phrase that we use all the time in our Christian lives, but have we ever slowed down to realize how silly that sounds? Making time for the One who literally made time itself? Too often we gauge our spiritual lives by how many minutes we were able to spend in God’s Word, or in prayer, but the real test is in what we are doing outside of our “quiet time,” and how we apply those lessons to our real lives. In fact, even discussing things in the terms of a “spiritual life” and a “real life” is wrong. We just have one life, and it should be all about God!
