Austin grew up with six sisters, so of course he chose to live in an all-boys dorm went he started attending Biola University. This was his chance to develop male friendships, a group of brothers that would grow together to become men. He didn’t realize that calling these fellow Christian students “brothers” actually came with the support and family he needed to pay for school. When he ran out of money, they did not run out of love.
