In 1 John, we are told by the disciple whom Jesus loved that God is love, and He makes that known to us in Jesus. But we also know God is infinite and no one has seen Him, so how do we encounter love on a daily basis? Not with words or in tongue, but with action and in truth – and yet, for some, being told I love you makes the biggest difference. That’s the root of the five love languages.
