Graced With Light: The Ribbon Project

In 2013, artist Anne Patterson was invited to live in residence with the Diocese of California and beautify the Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. With over twenty miles of ribbon, Patterson brought the vaulted ceiling down to the congregation.

The artist explained her vision was to visualize communion with God: prayers rising from the congregation, and grace coming down from Heaven.
