Nonprofit Provides These Kids with a Way to Get Around…And It’s Way More Fun Than a Wheelchair!

Mobility assistance devices are often hard for small children to get…but who needs them when you have something THIS cool?!

Two men go to the local toy store and take every Power Wheels and similar ride-on cars off their shelves and mounts and litter the aisle with the big toys. When a manager asks what they’re doing, Dr. Cole Galloway answers, “We’re having a lab meeting.”

See, wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices are unavailable or prohibitively expensive for small children β€” so how do you help young children born with spina bifida or cerebral palsy?

Cole’s answer is both affordable β€” less than $200 per car β€” and fun.

See how his nonprofit, Go Baby Go has modified toy cars to help the most desperate. Their goal is to increase exploration in kids with special needs, and so far it’s been a huge success!

In addition, each car provides custom physical therapy to each child based on individual needs. It’s a truly incredible and innovative way to help kids move around easier!

Plus, it’s all free, because why would you hold your designs for money when there are 100,000 children in need? That’s Cole’s question, not ours. And it’s a good one.
