In today’s culture, our kids are getting blasted with a near constant flow of violent, heretical, profane, and deeply sexual images that seem to get more provocative every day. In this incredible spoken-word poem, the poet confronts the lies of a pop sensation’s lyrics. She confronts the unnamed pop star’s highly sexualized appearance. She confronts idea of liberation.
