Answer 1

“Matthew 1 recounts the genealogy of Jesus, the Messiah. We can see in the following verses that David and Bathsheba became the parents of Solomon, and as the generations continued to unfold, eventually Jesus was adopted into the family line of David.”

Answer 2

“Matthew 1 recounts the genealogy of Jesus, the Messiah. We can see in the following verses that David and Bathsheba became the parents of Solomon, and as the generations continued to unfold, eventually Jesus was adopted into the family line of David.”

The key to the question is the word “names.”

David = “Beloved”

Bathsheba = “Daughter of the oaths”

Solomon = “Peace”

The beloved, the daughter of the oaths, brought forth the prince of peace. The “beloved” in the eyes of YHWH was/is Israel. The oaths were given to Israel, and no other. The prince of peace would come through Israel.

The next thought might be “When does the prince of peace receive his crown, making him the king of peace?” The answer to that is found in the Song of Solomon. It has a direct implication for when the Messiah takes His bride. This future event will occur in the autumn of the year, just prior to Sukkot.
