If It Weren’t for These Two Words, His Life Wouldn’t Look the Same. They Saved Him.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved! Ephesians 2:4-5

The Bible says we were born in sin and conceived in iniquity (Psalm 51), and that all the world is waiting, even groaning, for the glorious return of Christ (Romans 8). So it’s no surprise that in this life, it’s hard. Sometimes it’s unfairly hard to kids, to the youngest, the most vulnerable – what pulls us out, what saves us from bad situations, bad choices? The answer is nothing, but God. These two words, this one act, contradicts and changes everything.
