People have looked to the Bible for wisdom for hundreds of years. Whether it’s a personal crisis, a sick family member, a natural disaster, or anything in between, we know the Bible is a source of truth and comfort. While we may not be able to find a passage on the exact situation we’re dealing with in our lives, we know and trust that the Bible is God’s Word. It’s His letter to us, His people. As 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

As such, we know when we open our Bibles, God is going to speak to us. Not only are the words in the Bible tested and true, but we have personal access to the One who orchestrated each verse and chapter. These two powerful tools – the Bible and prayer – can get us through anything. Even these uncertain times we find ourselves in. Let’s dive in and see what truth and comfort we can find in scripture today!
