Marine Throws First Pitch At Dodgers Game, Not Realizing The Catcher Is His Father

Marine Christopher Farias will remember the first pitch thrown during the Father’s Day game at Dodgers Stadium for the rest of his life.

What baseball fan doesn’t dream of throwing out the first pitch before their favorite team starts to play? The honor of the first pitch is not just given to anybody; it is an honor given to those who have earned it.

For Christopher Farias, the first pitch thrown during the Father’s Day game at Dodgers Stadium will be something he will remember for the rest of his life.

Unexpectedly honored as the Veteran of The Game, Marine Corporal Farias thought that the award was going to be the biggest surprise of the day for him.

What he didn’t know was that Farias’s father had something else in mind, however.

Decked out in full Dodger game gear, Farias’s father played along as catcher until he could make his surprise reveal. For the first time in eight years, this father and son were able to reunite for Father’s day.

Enjoy his memorable first pitch.
