Sonia and Anita were born blind in rural India, where the population of those living in poverty outnumbers the population of the entire United States. The sisters cannot earn an education, and will be beggars for the family, unable to afford to sustain themselves – save for a miracle. That miracle is a 15-minute surgery that restores sight to the blind, and requires more “heart than your hand when doing service to children.” And when they see for the first time, prayers and questions are answered. What an amazing gift.
