Adopted Dog Saves Baby’s Life

If you haven’t already considered getting a dog from a rescue-shelter, you may be inspired to do so after seeing the story below. Not only is Duke the cutest little doggy, but he is exceptionally obedient. Which is why it seemed very out of character when Duke jumped on his owners bed in the middle of the night, shaking uncontrollably. Realizing something out of the ordinary was going on, Jenna Brousseau and her husband quickly ran into the bedroom of their 9-week-old daughter, to make sure the baby was alright. Well, she wasn’t! She had stopped breathing!

Fortunately, paramedics arrived in time to save little baby Harper, and she is now completely fine. It is still unclear why she had stopped breathing, but now Duke is being credited with saving the baby’s life and possibly averting a death from SIDS.

How dogs are so aware of things like this is surely a mystery, but maybe it has something to do with them being able to see or hear angels approaching. We are just glad Duke was there to save little Harper!
