Are You Good Enough For God?

The idea that you need to clean yourself up in order to come to Christ is a greatly believed lie, even within the Christian community. We are all sinners, our good deeds are like filthy rags, we are incapable of coming to God through any other means except Jesus. Therefore, it does God a disservice to act like you can be “good enough” on your own. We honor God by being real, by struggling, and by being vulnerable enough to say, “Here I am God. I have nothing to offer, but I’m here to claim the promise that I’m covered by your grace.”
