105-Year-Old Man Receives His High School Diploma

Bill Mohr, a World War II veteran had to leave Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School when he was 15 years old to help his parents out and then the war kept him from graduating.

“If I die tomorrow, I’m not going to ask the Lord for anything. He has given me everything I need over the years…I can hardly say much more than that.” – Bill Mohr

Bill Mohr, a World War II veteran had to leave Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School when he was 15 years old to help his parents out and then the war kept him from graduating. Bill’s 85th anniversary class celebration was upcoming this year and even though Bill did not finish school, Bill Connors, Prep’s president, wanted to change that. Connors wanted to get him that diploma so he can celebrate this anniversary . Mohr was overwhelmed with gratefulness to finally be honored. After Bill’s 105th birthday, Bill earned his high school diploma.
