If This Doesn’t Make You Sniffle a Little, I Don’t Know What Will!

Kenny Chesney’s song about his father’s struggle with Alzheimer’s is a must-see.

Kenny Chesney may be a country music superstar, but no matter what genre of music you prefer, the lyrics in his song “While He Still Knows Who I Am” will resonate with anyone who has a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. In order to honor and celebrate his dad’s life, a loving son took this song and created a personalized video documenting special moments with his father, and taking the time to celebrate the time he has left with him.

Alzheimer’s continues to grow costlier, and the prevalence of this tragic disease only continues to grow. Many American elders depend on Medicare for coverage of treatment they need during their golden years, but Medicare does not cover long-term care for Alzheimer’s leaving family and loved ones to shoulder a care burden currently estimated to be worth over $217 billion.

This cannot continue! You can help America’s Alzheimer’s patients by signing our petition demanding Medicare step up and cover 100% of long-term care for any person with Alzheimer’s or other dementias whose doctor has recommended it. Click here to sign!
