Think You Know What a Week’s Worth of Food Looks Like? Think Again.

It's a great big world with lots of people to feed and lots of food to eat. Sadly, though, not all of that food is accessible, and even if it were, the world operates on money, not hunt and gather. Even in the richest nations, two families may not have the same amount of money (or same amount of food). Hungry Planet captures the change in family meals by profiling 30 families and their weekly food purchases. Some will seem normal, some excessive, and some downright sad and paltry.
